    Cork Council drafts safety plan for greenway cyclists

    At an East Cork Municipal District meeting, councillors raised safety concerns about cyclists on the 23 km Midleton–Mogeely–Killeagh–Youghal greenway after a pedestrian was reportedly injured in a collision. They called for measures such as signage and speed controls. Cork County Council said it has received user feedback and is preparing a safety plan that may include speed limits and advisories.
