    England child obesity rates by local authority published

    The National Child Measurement Programme released 2024/25 estimates of child obesity by English local authority. Reception rates are highest in Halton (15.4%), Stoke-on-Trent (15.1%), North East Lincolnshire (14.6%) and Wolverhampton (14.4%), and lowest in Uttlesford (4.3%), Richmond upon Thames (4.6%) and Epsom & Ewell (4.9%). Year 6 peaks in Sandwell (30.7%), Knowsley (30.1%), Wolverhampton (30.0%) and Southwark (29.7%).
