    Jeffrey Archer auctions character naming for charity

    Author Jeffrey Archer will auction the chance to have the winning bidder’s name written into his final standalone novel, with all proceeds benefiting Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust. The online Cheffins auction runs November 7–23 at cheffins.co.uk, with opening bids around £500. Archer’s novel is scheduled for 2026 release. Funds will help build a children’s playroom at Cambridge Children’s Hospital.
