    Translink launches late-night transport pilot in Northern Ireland

    Translink will run a year-long late-night public transport pilot in Northern Ireland from Friday, 28 November, supported by the NI Executive. Metro buses will operate midnight–2am every Friday and Saturday, with Ulsterbus adding later departures from Belfast; standard fares and concessions apply. Over Christmas only, NI Railways will provide extra Friday/Saturday night capacity. The pilot is estimated to cost £650,000.
