    Survey finds widespread workplace abuse; calls for stronger laws

    A Suzy Lamplugh Trust survey of 1,003 UK workers found 31% experienced workplace violence, aggression or abuse in the past year and 20% feel at risk; 21% reported verbal abuse, 14% bullying, and 3% each physical assault and sexual harassment. The charity urged stronger laws and mandatory reporting. Baroness Carmen Smith plans amendments; the government cites its Employment Rights Bill.
