Landlord acquires House Belfast in £331k pre-pack deal

House Belfast’s landlord acquired the hotel business out of administration for £331,012, including just £65,000 cash. The deal preserved 46 jobs after operator Botanic Way Ltd collapsed in August 2025. Most of the price covered rental arrears; fixtures were valued at £60,000. Unsecured creditor claims total an estimated £3.785m, with none expected amid a £624,000 HMRC preferential claim.
