    Man held over fatal Tyrrelstown stabbing

    Gardai are holding a man in his 20s as they investigate the fatal stabbing of 23-year-old Victor Mamaliga at Curragh Hall Crescent, Tyrrelstown, about 10:30pm on November 1. He reached Connolly Hospital with serious injuries and died. A murder inquiry is expected. Several scenes were examined; no weapon found. An incident room has been established; Gardaí appeal for witnesses.
