    Northern Ireland Education Minister Paul Givan defended asking his department to publicise a school visit in Israel as non-political, saying no public funds were used. A Permanent Secretary review found the release appropriate. He faces a no-confidence motion backed by People Before Profit, Sinn Féin, the SDLP and Alliance, which cited concerns over his ministerial capacity, resource use and performance.
