    LNER staffer critical after train stabbings; suspect charged

    Samir Zitouni, an LNER crew member, remains in hospital, stable but critically unwell, after being seriously injured during Saturday’s mass stabbing on a Doncaster–London train in Cambridgeshire. British Transport Police said 11 patients attended hospital; six discharged. Anthony Williams, 32, is charged with 10 attempted murders, ABH and possessing a blade, and remanded to appear on 1 December.
