High Court upheld The Teaching Council’s decision to strike a teacher off the register for professional misconduct involving two Leaving Certificate students. The teacher had an inappropriate sexual relationship and explicit Snapchat messaging with an 18-year-old student, and engaged in improper conduct toward her friend. The court imposed a 30-year reapplication ban. The teacher accepted findings; identities remain anonymised.
