Unite Suspends Leonardo UK Strikes for Pay Offer Ballot

Unite has suspended planned strikes at defence and aerospace firm Leonardo UK after the company tabled a new pay offer. Walkouts by more than 3,000 staff due to start Wednesday are on hold while members vote. If the offer is rejected, strikes will proceed 10–18 November at Edinburgh and Newcastle, and 12–13 November at Yeovil, Luton and Basildon.
