    UK Bill Targets Protests at Politicians’ Homes

    UK ministers are proposing measures in the Crime and Policing Bill to make protests outside politicians’ homes, intended to influence their role or private life, a criminal offence punishable by up to six months’ imprisonment. The Home Office says the reform aims to protect MPs, peers and councillors, citing a survey finding 96% of MPs experienced harassment or intimidation.
