    Man Jailed for Coercive Control and Assault

    An unnamed man was sentenced at the Central Criminal Court to three years' imprisonment, with the final two years suspended, after pleading guilty to assault causing harm (2010) and coercive control (2019–2020). A rape charge was dropped. The judge refused a fully suspended sentence. A probation report found high reoffending risk; defense sought leniency and a non-custodial outcome.
