    Education Minister Paul Givan faced criticism for using departmental channels to publicize a school visit during an Israeli government-funded trip, which he said was non-political. Sinn Féin, the SDLP and Alliance backed a no-confidence motion tabled by People Before Profit MLA Gerry Carroll, but it is expected to fail without unionist support. DUP leader Gavin Robinson backed Givan.
