    Belfast Council to Fly Palestinian Flag November 29

    Belfast City Council voted to fly the Palestinian flag at City Hall on November 29, the International Day for Solidarity with the People of Palestine. The Sinn Féin proposal passed 41–15, backed by several parties, with opposition from the DUP, UUP and TUV. Councillors also approved flying Human Rights Day and United Nations flags on December 10.
