    Scottish man banned after neglecting 18 birds of prey

    Brandon Hodge, 28, admitted two animal neglect charges after police found 18 tethered birds of prey in tiny, stacked, faeces-encrusted cages at a Kilmacolm, Renfrewshire house in May 2024. A Harris Hawk was euthanised. At Greenock Sheriff Court, he was banned from owning or keeping animals for five years, given 12 months’ supervision and 90 hours’ unpaid work.
