    The Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland reports house rebuilding costs rose 7% over 12 months and urges homeowners to update insurance to reflect reinstatement value. New landfill and recovery levies and labour issues are driving costs. Typical three-bed rebuilds cost €331,340 in Dublin versus €270,090 in the North West.
