Amazon launches first UK electric HGVs

Amazon launched the first electric heavy goods vehicles from a major UK order on Tuesday, with plans to deploy 160 eHGVs, its largest electric truck fleet globally. The trucks will move products between logistics hubs across the UK. Amazon is also adding 800 electric vans nationwide and extending on-foot deliveries to London’s Borough of Camden.
