    Farage sets Reform plan; opponents cite council cuts

    Nigel Farage outlined Reform UK’s deregulatory plan, saying major tax cuts are not feasible now. Proposals include scrapping inheritance tax on family farms and businesses, raising tax thresholds, cutting welfare costs, shrinking the public sector, and disability reassessments. Policy chief Zia Yusuf forecast at least £25bn in spending cuts. Opponents cited service cuts and tax rises under Reform-run councils.
