    Fraud claim heard over Runcorn and Helsby by-election

    Chester Crown Court is hearing an election petition by Graham Moore over the Runcorn and Helsby by-election, won by Reform UK’s Sarah Pochin by six votes over Labour. Moore alleges fraud and disputes his tally of 50, claiming he saw 116 ballots for him. Acting returning officer Stephen Young said votes were recounted individually. The three-day trial adjourned until Tuesday.
