Prince William unveils Amazon defender initiative in Brazil

Prince William is in Brazil to stage the Earthshot Prize in Rio and will announce a new initiative for indigenous and environmental defenders in the Amazon at a United for Wildlife summit. He will also attend COP30 in Belem. The initiative extends a ranger insurance programme, now covering over 6,000 rangers. Prime Minister Keir Starmer will attend the event.
