Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks and Matt Damon to be invited to Wexford for 30th anniversary of ‘Saving Private Ryan’

Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, Matt Damon and the cast and crew of Saving Private Ryan are to be invited to Wexford to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the filming of the World War II epic. Although released in 1998, the movie was primarily filmed in 1997 with many of its pivotal scenes recorded on the beaches of south Wexford.
