Paul McCartney said he didn’t know how to be in a band after The Beatles split, before forming Wings in 1971. Ahead of the release of Wings: The Story Of A Band On The Run, edited by Edward “Ted” Widmer, he recalled being mugged in Lagos during Band On The Run sessions, losing demo tapes and reconstructing songs.
