Diane Ladd, a three-time Academy Award nominee, has died at 89. Her daughter, Laura Dern, announced Ladd died at home in Ojai, California, with Dern present; no cause was disclosed. Martin Scorsese, who directed her in Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore, led tributes. Ladd’s credits include Wild at Heart and Rambling Rose. She earned three supporting actress Oscar nominations.
