Aidan Dunphy, 44, of Crowe Street, Gort, Co Galway, was jailed for five years after pleading guilty to sexual assault and engaging in a sexual act with a child under 17 in Co Galway in June 2023. The court heard he drugged and sexually assaulted a teenage girl. He has one previous conviction for a minor drugs offence.
