Derry Tournament to Debut Peter O’Donnell Memorial Cup

A boxing tournament in Derry on Saturday will stage the inaugural Peter O’Donnell Memorial Cup during the annual Co Derry v Co Donegal meeting. O’Donnell, a longtime Irish boxing coach, manager and commentator, died last month. Separately, at Finland’s Tampere Tournament, Jude Gallagher won gold, Jon McConnell won gold and best technical boxer, and Caitlin Fryers earned bronze.
