    Ireland Midfielder Alan Judge Retires at 36

    Former Republic of Ireland midfielder Alan Judge has retired from football at 36. He made nearly 500 senior club appearances for Blackburn Rovers, Brentford, Ipswich Town and Braintree Town, and won nine Ireland caps. Judge debuted under Martin O’Neill in a 2016 friendly against Switzerland and missed Euro 2016 after a fractured leg. He announced his retirement on social media.
